The position

Seeking a distribution manager for a theatrical production presented at the Avignon Off Festival from July 5th to 14th
Compagnie "Voix de Passage", directed by Isabelle Mounier.

Part-time position starting in May.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a distribution strategy tailored to the show with Isabelle Mounier (director).

- Conduct outreach and target programmers prior to the festival.

- Organize meetings and follow-up with potential partners and selected media outlets.

- Welcome industry professionals (distributors and media) during the festival.

- Follow up after the festival in collaboration with Isabelle Mounier.

Desired profile

An interest in the company's work and Isabelle Mounier's artistic choices. A good understanding and attentiveness to her expectations.
Knowledge of live performance and related fields is expected.
Possess interpersonal skills (flexibility, listening and tenacity) and good oral and written communication skills.
Having experience (minimum two years) and a curious familiarity with the theatrical world and its specificities.
To be attentive and responsive to current events in the performing arts, calls for projects, festivals, networking.

Terms

- To be determined based on experience, skills, and availability (intermittent work fees or invoices).

- Accommodation provided near Avignon.

The performance to be presented ("Quand la voix s’en mêle") will be a play written and entirely conceived by Isabelle. The play was written during a writing residency in the Drôme and Vaucluse regions and will premiere on March 1st in Vaucluse. The text is currently being sought for publication.
