Stand/set builder for events and museum displays
The position
Secoana Interim is looking for experienced Stand Assemblers (M/F) for its event clients to work on stands, trade shows, exhibitions, museums, etc.
Job description and temporary assignment:
- Assemble prefabricated panels (particleboard, laminate, Placoplâtre) according to safety regulations.
- Assembles and installs partitions, linings, flooring, and suspended ceilings.
- Participates in the assembly and dismantling of tents, structures, buildings, stages and bleachers, scaffolding, and all work necessary for the smooth operation of the worksite within the employee's skill set.
- Oversees and participates in the transport of equipment to assembly areas.
- Secures the framework of a structure.
- Layout techniques, installing suspended ceilings, squaring, laying floors, plastering techniques, reading plans and diagrams, reinforcing panel structures, taking measurements.
- Characteristics and properties of wood and wood derivatives, profile characteristics, creating and fixing door and window frames and uprights according to openings or recesses, Placoplâtre characteristics, creating and smoothing joints, ensuring plumb and level, techniques of Assembly…
Skills or prerequisites:
- Be versatile and able to work in various positions on the construction site according to the instructions of your supervisor,
- Take care of equipment and isolate defective products,
- Respect hygiene and safety regulations and quality procedures,
- Operate handling equipment if you hold the required licenses,
- Meet deadlines.
Experience level / Training, certificates or qualifications required:
- Significant experience in the field of exhibition stands, trade shows, and live entertainment...
- Design structures, panels, etc., directly on-site
Type of contract: Temporary staffing contract
Assignments: 35 hours per week, but also night and weekend work
