Lighting Technician (m/f)
The position
The Théâtre du Chevalet, a subsidized theater in Noyon, offers a multidisciplinary season of live performances for all audiences. It has two performance halls with 440 seats and 84 seats respectively, and a reception hall that can accommodate up to 500 people standing/seated.
Permanent position or, failing that, a fixed-term contract (category B)
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Théâtre du Chevalet management and the stage manager, the lighting technician is responsible for the technical setup of performances, ensuring their smooth running, and assisting the stage manager with their duties.
They are responsible for the technical setup of performances: pre-installation, unloading, setup, operation, and dismantling.
They ensure the smooth running of events (residencies, rehearsals, performances, municipal or community events).
They are responsible for welcoming the technical and artistic teams.
They manage, maintain, care for, and store stage equipment and gear.
He assists the general manager in all of his duties and acts as his interim replacement in his absence.
He may be required to work at other municipal facilities or events.
Desired profile
- Mastery of stage lighting techniques, set design, and sound engineering
- Good knowledge of the CONGO console
- Similar experience required
- SSIAP 1
- Electrical certifications H0B0 and CACES 1B for aerial work platforms are preferred.
- Good knowledge of and affinity for live performance
- Interpersonal skills and a knack for connecting with people
- Versatility, rigor and autonomy
- High availability (evenings and weekends)
- Category B driving licence
Terms
Salary to be determined based on experience.
Full-time position, available from September 1, 2020.
